AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM DISTRICT 17 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, PURSUANT TO LMCO 97.100 ESTABLISHING A METRO PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM WITH SUBURBAN CITIES, FOR ADA COMPLIANT SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS AT SIX INTERSECTIONS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated from the District 17 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to the City of Rolling Hills, pursuant to LMCO 97.100 establishing a Metro Partnership Program with Suburban Cities, for ADA compliant sidewalk improvements at six intersections.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
