TITLE
AN AREA-WIDE ZONING CHANGE ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING FROM R-6 AND R-7 RESIDENTIAL MULTI-FAMILY AND OR-2 OFFICE/ RESIDENTIAL TO C-1 COMMERCIAL AND OR OFFICE/ RESIDENTIAL AFFECTING 12 PARCELS IN THE JACOBS NEIGHBORHOOD AND BEING IN LOUISVILLE METRO (CASE NO. 16AREA1003).

WHEREAS, The Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (the "Council") has considered the evidence presented at the public hearing held by the Louisville Metro Planning Commission on December 15, 2016 concerning zoning changes recommended in the Jacobs Neighborhood Small Area Plan adopted on October 8, 2015 (the "Plan") affecting 12 parcels fronting on Taylor Boulevard between Berry Boulevard and West Southern Heights Avenue in the Jacobs Neighborhood for the reasons and purposes stated in the Plan and as described in the staff reports and as shown on the maps presented at the Commission's public hearing, and the Council has further considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission and its staff as set out in the minutes and records of the Planning Commission in Case No. 16AREA1003; and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings of the Planning Commission for the zoning changes in Case No. 16AREA1003 and approves and accepts the recommendations of the Planning Commission as set out in said minutes and records.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: That the zoning changes from R-6 and R-7 Residential Multi-Family and OR-2 Office/Residential to C-1 Commercial and OR Office/Residential affecting 12 parcels fronting on Taylor Boulevard between Berry Boulevard and West Southern Heights Avenue in the Jacobs Neighborhood and being in Louisville Metro as described in the staff reports and as shown on the maps contained in the Commi...
