AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,440 FROM DISTRICT 2 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH BRIGHTSIDE, INC., TO LUV-IT LANDSCAPING FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE AND BEAUTIFICATION OF THREE RIGHTS-OF-WAY AT THE INTERSECTION OF SHEPHERDSVILLE ROAD AND NEWBURG ROAD.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $5,440 is hereby appropriated from District 2 Neighborhood Development Funds, through Brightside, Inc., to Luv-It Landscaping for costs associated with landscaping maintenance and beautification of three rights-of-way at the intersection of Shepherdsville Road and Newburg Road.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
