A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULE OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT ("COUNCIL") FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2022.

WHEREAS, on January 6, 2003, pursuant to KRS 67C.103(10), the Council adopted a set of legislative rules ("Council Rules") that were last updated on November 19, 2020; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to KRS 67C.103(8) and Council Rule 3.01, the Council adopted the calendar of regular Council meetings for 2022 on December 2, 2021; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Council Rule 4.02, the Council now adopts the calendar of regular Council committee meetings for 2022; and
WHEREAS, because social distancing is being encouraged during the COVID-19 pandemic, Council believes it is in the public interest to continue to operate virtually, holding its meetings through video teleconference with Council Members permitted to attend virtually or in person, and the public provided the option of remote access to all meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT ("THE COUNCIL") AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: All Council committee meetings set forth in the 2022 Metro Council Calendar, attached hereto, shall be considered regular meetings of such committees.
SECTION II: All of the Council's meetings will be held as video teleconferences pursuant to (1) KRS 61.826; (2) Senate Bill 150 as enacted in the 2020 regular session of the Kentucky General Assembly and as extended by Senate Bill 25 as enacted in the General Assembly's 2022 regular session; and (3) applicable procedures contained in Council Rule 5A. Council Members will participate virtually, or in person from Council Chambers on the third floor of Historic City Hall, 601 West Jefferson Street.
SECTION III: The Council hereby adopts the 2022 Metro Council Calendar.
