A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A $5,000 DONATION FROM LIFE-SAVERS, INC., TO PROMOTE PEDESTRAIN SAFETY EFFORTS TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS & ASSETS.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Department of Public Works & Assets.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:                     The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept a $5,000 donation from Life-Savers, Inc. Funds will be used by the Department of Public Works & Assets to promote pedestrian safety efforts in the community.

SECTION II:                      This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
