AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $2,050 $4,300 $6,550.00 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $1,000 FROM DISTRICT 20; $500 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 4, 7, 24, 25, AND 26; $300 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 14 AND 21; AND $250 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 1, 6, 10, 12, AND 15, AND 18, 19, AND 22; $200 FROM DISTRICT 13; $150 FROM DISTRICT 17; AND $100 FROM DISTRICT 3; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO UNITED NATIONS ASSOCIATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA KENTUCKY DIVISION, LTD. FOR PROGRAMMING EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND SEXUAL EXPLOITATION CONFERENCE FOCUSING ON HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND PORNOGRAPHY AS A PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS (AS AMENDED).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $2,050 $4,300 $6,550.00 from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $1,000 from District 20; $500 each from Districts 4, 7, 24, 25, and 26; $300 each from Districts 14 and 21; and $250 each from Districts 1, 6, 10, 12, and 15, and 18, 19, and 22; $200 from District 13; $150 from District 17; and $100 from District 3; through the Office of Management and Budget, to United Nations Association of the United States of America Kentucky Division, Ltd. for programming expenses associated with the Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation Conference focusing on Human Trafficking and Pornography as a Public Health Crisis.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
