AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $30,000 FROM DISTRICT 24 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE LOUISVILLE FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY FOR PROGRAMMING EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE COLLIDER ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM AND THE COLLIDER MAKER LAB AT THE SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL LIBRARY UNTIL JUNE OF 2022 (AS AMENDED).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $30,000 is hereby appropriated from District 24 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Louisville Free Public Library for programming expenses associated with the Collider Artist in Residence Program and the Collider Maker Lab at the South Central Regional Library.
SECTION II: The $30,000 grant will extend beyond the current fiscal year and carry over until June of 2022.
SECTION II III: The Council has determined that the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III IV: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures, as adopted and effective as of the passage date.
SECTION IV V: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
