AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $45,112.20 FROM DISTRICT 3 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO PUBLIC WORKS TO INCREASE THE LIGHTING IN DISTRICT 3 PROVIDING MORE SECURITY FOR CONSTITUENTS IN THOSE AREAS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $45,112.20 is hereby appropriated from District 3 Neighborhood Development Funds to Public Works to increase the lighting in District 3 providing more security for constituents in those areas.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
