TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $13,250 $15,500 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $5,000 FROM DISTRICT 12; $3,000 FROM DISTRICT 14; $2,500 FROM DISTRICT 25; $1,000 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 13, AND 15, AND 24; AND $750 FROM DISTRICT 10; $500 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 21 AND 22; AND $250 FROM DISTRICT 6; TO METRO PARKS FOR THE 9TH ANNUAL RIVERVIEW INDEPENDENCE FESTIVAL (AS AMENDED).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE “COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $13,250 $15,500 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $5,000 from District 12; $3,000 from District 14; $2,500 from District 25; $1,000 each from Districts 13, and 15, and 24; and $750 from District 10; $500 each from Districts 21 and 22; and $250 from District 6; to Metro Parks for the 9th Annual Riverview Independence Festival.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
