TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $11,560.23 FROM DISTRICT 2 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO LOUISVILLE METRO EMERGENCY SERVICES - OFFICE OF SPECIAL EVENTS FOR EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING SECURITY, SIGNAGE, AND A PARADE PERMIT FOR NEWBURG DAYS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The amount of $11,560.23 is hereby appropriated from District 2 Neighborhood Development Funds to the Louisville Metro Emergency Services - Office of Special Events for expenses associated with providing security, signage, and a parade permit for Newburg Days.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
