AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $15,000 IN DISTRICT 6 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT FOR “JAZZ IN CENTRAL PARK,” “MOVIES IN THE PARK,” AND TOONERVILLE PARK OPENING.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $15,000 is hereby appropriated from District 6 Neighborhood Development Funds, to Metro Parks Department for “Jazz in Central Park,” “Movies in the Park,” and Toonerville Park Opening.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
