AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $6,000 FROM DISTRICT 6 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO THE METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT TO PAY FOR THE COMMUNITY EVENT JAZZ IN CENTRAL PARK (AS AMENDED).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $8,000 $6,000 is hereby appropriated from District 6 Neighborhood Development Funds to the Metro Parks Department for community events, repairs at Victory Park and improvements at California Community Center to pay for the community event Jazz in Central Park.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
