TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,000 $7,000 $13,000 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $4,000 FROM DISTRICT 22; AND $1,000 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 13, 14, 15, AND 17, 19, AND 24; AND $500 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 13 AND 16, 20, 21, AND 25; AND $250 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 6, 10, 12, AND 23; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF KENTUCKIANA, INC TO PAY FOR EXTENSIVE, ACTIVITY-BASED CURRICULUM MATERIALS (AS AMENDED).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE “COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $5,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $5,000 $7,000 $13,000 from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $4,000 from District 22; and $1,000 each from Districts 13, 14, 15, and 17, 19, and 24; and $500 each from Districts 13 and 16, 20, 21, and 25; and $250 each from Districts 6, 10, 12, and 23; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana, Inc. to pay for extensive, activity-based curriculum materials.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
