A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO THE CAPITAL AND OPERATING BUDGET ORDINANCES, APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION TO FUND THE FOLLOWING NONCOMPETITIVELY NEGOTIATED AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT FOR THE LOUISVILLE METRO POLICE DEPARTMENT (“LMPD”) CONCERNING SERVICE AS A LEGAL INSTRUCTOR FOR LMPD PERSONNEL - (SHAWN MARIE HERRON - $15,000.00 FOR A NEW NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $45,000.00).

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following appropriation for the listed amendment to contract is hereby approved:
LOUISVILLE METRO POLICE DEPARTMENT
$15,000.00 for a new not-to-exceed amount of $45,000.00 for an amendment to the noncompetitively negotiated Professional Service Contract with Shawn Marie Herron for service as a legal instructor for LMPD personnel from September 20, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
