AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $21,500$30,000 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $14,000 FROM DISTRICT 3; $10,000 FROM DISTRICTS 2 AND 3; $1,250 FROM DISTRICT 21; $1,000 FROM DISTRICTS 1 AND 4; AND $500 FROM DISTRICTS 6 AND 15; AND $250 FROM DISTRICTS 9, 10, 13, 14, 17, 20, AND 24; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE LINCOLN FOUNDATION FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE WHITNEY M. YOUNG SCHOLARS PROGRAM (AS AMENDED).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $21,500$30,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $14,000 from District 3; $10,000 from Districts 2 and 3; $1,250 from District 21; $1,000 from Districts 1 and 4; and $500 from Districts 6 and 15; and $250 from Districts 9, 10, 13, 14, 17, 20, and 24; through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Lincoln Foundation for costs associated with the Whitney M. Young Scholars Program
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council's Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
