AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $8,400 $8,650 $11,650 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $2,000 FROM DISTRICT 9; $1,000 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 26, 4, 24, 14; $500 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 14, 5, 8, 10, 15, 13, 12, 2, 3, 21, 25; $400 FROM DISTRICT 1; $250 FROM DISTRICT 6; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE LOUISVILLE METRO AFFORDABLE HOUSING TRUST FUND, INC. (LAHTF) FOR A FISCAL, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL IMPACT STUDY OF ADDITIONAL SPENDING FROM A ONE-PERCENT INCREASE IN THE INSURANCE PREMIUM TAX TO FUND AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN LOUISVILLE METRO TO THE LAHTF, BY THE UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE URBAN STUDIES INSTITUTE (As Amended).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $8,400 $8,650 $11,650 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds, in the following manner: $2,000 from District 9; $1,000 each from Districts 26, 4, 24, 14; $500 each from Districts 14, 5, 8, 10, 15, 13, 12, 2, 3, 21, 25; $400 from District 1; $250 from District 6; through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Louisville Metro Affordable Housing Trust Fund, Inc. (LAHTF) for a fiscal, economic and social impact study of additional spending from a one-percent increase in the insurance premium tax to fund affordable housing in Louisville Metro to the LAHTF, by the University of Louisville Urban Studies Institute.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council's Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
