TITLE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 088, SERIES 2021 RELATING TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 CAPITAL BUDGET FOR THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT BY APPROPRIATING $20,000,000 TO FACILITIES AND FLEET MANAGEMENT TO FUND THE PURCHASE AND RENOVATION OF A PROPERTY LOCATED AT 601 WEST CHESTNUT STREET.

WHEREAS, these funds will be used to purchase and renovate the 198,400 square foot property located on nearly five acres located at 601 West Chestnut Street; and 

WHEREAS, this investment will transform a long vacant property into a vibrant, thriving Louisville Metro anchor of activity. 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:                     Part I., Revenues and Funding Sources, of Ordinance 088, Series 2021, is hereby amended as follows:   

 

 

 

SECTION II:  Part I., Chief of Public Safety/Services, G. Facilities and Fleet Management, of Ordinance No. 088, Series 2021, is hereby amended as follows:
